Posted on July 29th, 2014 by LUX Scotland

Friday 1st August, 7.30pm, Pier Arts Centre

Free admission

Join LUX at the Pier Arts Centre to welcome Florrie James as the recipient of the second Glasgow Film Margaret Tait Residency. Short films by James and Tait will be screened, presented by Benjamin Cook, director of LUX. Refreshments will be served.

The Margaret Tait Residency is supported by Creative Scotland and presented by the Glasgow Film Festival in conjunction with Pier Arts Centre and LUX. The Residency aims to support and develop the skills of an emerging Scottish-based artist working within film and moving image. It was developed for artists early in their career who would benefit from a focused period of development in a stimulating environment outwith their typical studio base.
