Using American film artist Hollis Frampton’s legendary 1972 letter to the MOMA New York curator Donald Richie as a starting point, this seminar will explore the economies and circulation of artists’ moving image.

Considering how value is created in work and how artists’ can promote and distribute their work, this seminar will practically examine present and future modes for distribution including the institutional landscape, editioning, collecting, rights and the impact of new technologies.

This seminar will be led by Benjamin Cook, Founder Director of LUX.
