In response to the current situation and to reduce the spread of Covid-19 (Coronavirus), we have closed the LUX Scotland office and have cancelled all upcoming events scheduled to take place in the next four weeks.

We take our responsibility to the communities we serve, and to society as a whole, very seriously and have therefore taken these steps to protect everyone’s health and safety.

The LUX Scotland team will work from home and all meetings will take place online for the time being. We have cancelled all upcoming events taking place in the next four weeks and will monitor the situation before deciding whether to cancel the events taking place after that point.

We are committed to paying the artists that we would have been working with during this period and plan to re-schedule events where possible.

We are looking into ways to make content and resources available online and will update our audiences via the LUX Scotland website, e‑bulletin and social media channels. If other organisations and individuals are planning online and remote activities during this time, please get in touch so we can help promote and share.

Culture Counts currently have a survey open to record the impact of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) on the sector and to communicate the needs of the sector to decision-makers in government and in parliament. It can access it here.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Stay safe and care for one another.
