2024 is LUX Scotland’s tenth birthday and we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone we have worked with over the last decade for their contributions to our programme and the development of the organisation. Artists are at the centre of everything we do and we are incredibly grateful for their inspiring and challenging work within our programme and across society.

We would also like to thank the LUX Scotland team past and present, the LUX Scotland advisory group and the LUX Board of Directors, all of whom have been integral to our shared learning. We are extremely grateful to all our national and international partners who make our work possible, and to all our funders whose ongoing support has enabled us to work with hundreds of artists and reach thousands of participants and attendees over the last ten years.

Since our inception in 2014, we have supported artists’ moving image practices across Scotland, delivering learning opportunities for artists of all career stages and meaningful public programmes for audiences across Scotland and beyond. We want to create a world in which artists have the support they need to develop their varied practices with integrity and confidence, while connecting them and their work with new audiences. Here’s to the next ten years, and to building a society that truly values artists and all that they bring to our lives!
