We’re happy to announce the launch of the new video-on-demand streaming service LUXPLAYER.

The LUXPLAYER will showcase international artists’ moving image, with a focus on long-form works and new releases every month. The LUXPLAYER charges a ‘digital rental fee’ which means that the film can be streamed on any platform for a 48 hour period. 50% of the hire fee will go directly to the artist, 10% to the service provider and the remainder towards supporting the care and management of the LUX Collection.

This month we present Taskafa: Stories of the Street (2013), Andrea Luka Zimmerman’s acclaimed documentary on the mutual care between human and animal inhabitants of Istanbul. This presentation coincides with Real Estates, a project by Fugitive Images (Andrea Luka Zimmerman and David Roberts) at PEER, London, 18 February – 28 March.
