Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art (more commonly known as GI) is a biennial city-wide, multi-venue Festival that takes place over 18 days in April/​May in every even year. The Festival Manager is responsible for the operations of the organisation, ensuring that the festival programme is delivered to the artistic vision of its Director, on time and to budget with sound administrative procedures in place. The successful candidate will play a key role in fundraising and stakeholder relations, also working with the Director to increase income across trusts and foundations as well as commercial and donor support. The role will also play a leading role in developing opportunities for freelance artists through the festival and for developing the learning programme.

Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art (more commonly known as GI) is a biennial city-wide, multi-venue Festival that takes place over 18 days in April/​May in every even year. The Festival Coordinator works closely with both the Festival Manager and Director to ensure that the operations and administration of the festival runs smoothly. This pivotal role is critical to managing the open programme of the festival. It is important that they will have a working knowledge of contemporary art and the arts sector. Nearer to the festival time, the Festival Coordinator will arrange the festival hub, and work closely with the Festival Manager to ensure that key tasks are done on a day-to-day basis.

The role is central to the development and delivery of LUX’s ambitious programme, including its monthly exhibition series BL CK B X, as well as screenings, performances, workshops and courses.
