Summer School with Grace Ndiritu

6pm start (Friday) and 1.30pm finish (Sunday)

The last few places are available to book for this year’s summer school, led by Grace Ndiritu and organised in partnership with Hospitalfield in Arbroath. The summer school is open to artists, curators, programmers and writers who are based in Scotland.

LUX Scotland and Scotland + Venice are delighted to host the UK premiere of ​‘Lagareh – The Last Born’ at Glasgow Film Theatre, the first event of a screening tour that brings the work to six venues across Scotland.

Past Events

Against dusky purple expanse, a multi-limbed being – many-faced, twisted-tongued, teal-green – levitates in a yogic squat. The being’s mouth-belly (beneath hypnotic red-nippled breast-eyes) with stained teeth and charcoal lips, delivers lurid green vegetative vomit. Waves of green rise, inundating the dusk.
