Gaada Workshop, Burra
Gaada will host LUX Scotland Director, Kitty Anderson for an afternoon of one-to-one artists’ advice sessions.
LUX Scotland offers regular free one-to-one advice sessions for artists based in Scotland working with the moving image who are no longer in full-time education. – talking over some possible ‘next steps’ for your project, including advice on exhibition possibilities and thinking about appropriate organisations to research and approach
– advice on: developing your practice /networks and self-promotion /funding and budget writing /production and project planning /organising research viewing of works in the LUX collection that may be of interest.
Sessions usually last for approximately 30 minutes.
Sunday March 13th, midday to early afternoon in-person at Gaada Workshop in Burra.
Who can apply
You must be a Shetland based artist who works with moving image in some way.
Priority will be given to those that have not had a LUX Scotland Advice Session in the past 12 months.
Please do not book unless you are sure you can make it.
