Gaada will host LUX Scotland Director, Kitty Anderson for an afternoon of one-to-one artists’ advice sessions.

LUX Scotland offers regular free one-to-one advice sessions for artists based in Scotland working with the moving image who are no longer in full-time education. These are informal sessions with LUX Scotland staff aimed at developing a wide-ranging dialogue around your practice and can involve any or all of the following areas:

– looking at and discussing your work and the direction it is taking

– talking over some possible next steps’ for your project, including advice on exhibition possibilities and thinking about appropriate organisations to research and approach

– advice on: developing your practice /networks and self-promotion /funding and budget writing /production and project planning /organising research viewing of works in the LUX collection that may be of interest.

Sessions usually last for approximately 30 minutes.
