Margaret Salmon presents her first 35mm feature Eglantine in a special preview screening at Glasgow Film Festival 2016. This Director’s Lab is a chance for you to meet the director and hear about the experience of being both director and director of photography (DOP), Salmon’s transition from working with 16mm to 35mm, and what it’s like to work on location in Scotland.

This open session is a unique opportunity to learn about producing a first feature and is suitable for anyone with an interest in artists’ moving image, or a desire to make their own films or learn more about the production process.
