For the next online screening in the ONE WORK series we present Cal Mac’s film ​‘Agony to Ecstasy’ (2020), which is available to view for the month of May. LUX Scotland and Ajabu Ajabu Audio Visual House, Tanzania, are delighted to present the first of three online screenings and conversations in a new moving image exchange titled ​‘Hadithi Hadithi: Place is mostly open space’ which will unfold over May and June.

Queer Audio Description Workshops with Quiplash

We are excited to present an online queer audio description workshop with Quiplash – up to ten free places are available for artists and creative practitioners working with moving image based in Scotland, apply by Monday 16 May.

A Radical Call to Play | Workshop led by Max Alexander

A silky green fabric takes up the entire rectangular frame of the film still. Light reflects off the texture and the folds of the fabric, creating dark emerald greens, bright yellow greens, and deeper aqua blues. In the centre of the image is yellow italic san serif text, which poses a question in Italian, ‘La mia posizione sul processo di creazione?’ which translates as ‘My position on the process or creation?’
