Project Manager (Aberdeen Programme)

We are looking for a creative, committed individual who is passionate about the work of LUX Scotland and our commitment to support, develop and promote artists’ moving image across Scotland. The Project Manager is responsible for organising and delivering a planned programme of professional development activity for early-career artists and curators in Aberdeen.

Days: Working days to be negotiated on appointment. We have planned for this role to involve 20-days work that will take place between September 2021 and March 2022. This role may involve some evening and weekend work.

Salary: 20-days work paid at £150/​day. This fee has been calculated based on the daily equivalent of the annual salaries of the permanent LUX Scotland project managers, plus the equivalent cost of pension contributions and holiday time. Total project manager fee £3,000 which will be paid on a monthly basis by invoicing LUX Scotland. Local travel expenses to attend events will be provided.

Based at: Working from home, in Aberdeen, while planning events. Some in-person events work to deliver events in Aberdeen city-centre venues.

Eligibility: People who live in Aberdeen (specifically, people with an Aberdeen post-code). This is a requirement of the funding that supports this freelance post.
